Ana-Cristina Solano is a visual artist and scenographer who works interdisciplinary between art, interior/textile design, advertising and education. Ana-Cristina graduated in set and costume design at the KHB-Berlin Weißensee.
Ana-Cristina was chosen by Else Gabriel as a Meisterschülerin. Her year there of artistic research led her to receive the Udk-Elsa Neumann Stipendium for her work.
Her love for film and work in scenographic photography led her to attend classes in production design at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. She holds a certificate in education and pedagogy from the Alice Salomon Hochschule and from WeTeK.
Her intrinsic curiosity, tireless aesthetic appetite and holistic understanding of space allow her to combine colors, textures, materials, light and perspective in unique creations. She is always looking for new interpretations that challenge one to look differently. Ana-Cristina's work is defined by versatility and the love for detail.
She has worked in film productions, theaters, advertising, decoration & exhibitions and has collaborated with educators, scientists and designers.
When she is not creating or designing, Ana-Cristina loves to teach.
She lives in Berlin.
